Alice Never Left the Web

Photographer Sophia Noelle

Model Azura Rose

This collection grew from a shared vision between the model Azura Rose and me, aiming to reimagine Alice’s descent through the rabbit hole. At the journey’s end, she finds herself ensnared in a spider’s web, suspended in a world where fear and wonder intertwine. The images capture Azura startled and vulnerable, tangled in silken threads within the endless void. We cast our idea of Alice as prey, caught in a delicate yet looming trap after falling into the void. The result is a series of visuals that feel both dreamlike and haunting, inviting viewers into a liminal space between reality and Wonderland. The stark black walls, shadowed floor, and solitary wooden ladder deepen the sense of fantasy and strangeness of what lies at the bottom of the rabbit hole.

Azura crafted the rope installation themself, transforming it into both a symbolic trap and a physical stage for their curiosity in exploring their surroundings. Intertwined with gothic and antique details, this web amplifies the eerie undertones of Wonderland. Our collaboration was based on constant dialogue and creative trial, shaping not only the mood of the images but also the surreal story they tell safely and creatively.
