AD Lab @ocad_advertising – a student-run group for anyone interested in creative advertising. The group provides a space to learn, experiment, and connect through workshops, guest speakers, and collaborative projects. Members have the opportunity to develop ideas, improve their portfolios, and gain insight into the advertising industry in a supportive, community setting.
Cinema Society @ocadu.cinema – Cinema Society is a space of love for movies and filmmaking, where the OCAD community can meet and share. We advocate for a safe space to discuss both aesthetics and politics in film, as well as deepen our understanding of film as an art form. We also just really like movies and wanna enjoy that together.
OCAD Mandarin Christian Campus Fellowship – Our goal is to build a Mandarin speaking Christian community in OCAD where brothers and sisters may support each other in faith, in faithful study of scripture and community, to glorify God and let His name be made known.
OCAD U Foundry Club @ocadufoundryclub – OCAD University’s Foundry is a fully equipped metal casting facility for bronze and aluminum. The Foundry Club exists to allow students with similar interests, backgrounds, and ambitions to share ideas, explore techniques, casting processes, and examine various casting materials. Club members will have access to the Foundry for metal casting projects, both individually and/or group projects. Foundry Club plans to meet on a bi-weekly basis, developing project plans, goals, and activities; learning and innovation can happen through collaboration!
OCAD Tabletop Club @ocad.tabletop – A group to be a platform to find players or a dungeon master for tabletop games! We have a few public games, but also several smaller closed groups that all meet on meeting days!
Latino Gang @latinogang.ocad – We are a latino community, looking for latino american people in order to share our culture, music, food and traditions. We are also looking to have hangouts and events in our community to connect with each other and have fun!
UX Student Association @uxstudentassociation – UXSA (UX Student Association) is a free platform that brings together students from all of Canada who’s interested in UX/UI, product design, and design thinking. We host beginner-friendly design challenges, networking and portfolio/resume prep workshops to help those looking to land their dream internship/new grad role.
Club Updates for October!
OCAD U Climbing Updates @ocadclimbing – On Friday, October 31st the OCAD climbing club will be hosting a climbing costume Halloween party! Come in your most creative costume and enjoy some treats and climbing. We’ll be meeting at basecamp on Spadina at 7pm, see you there beasts!
100m Studios Updates @100mstudios – Check out our weekly open studios! We are also accepting applications for our first Publication Micro-grant! For more information, check out our Instagram and visit our micro-grant info sessions on October 9th at 6:30pm and October 14th at 5pm held in Room 642 in OCAD’s Main Building. Deadline to apply is October 24th, 2025!

DRPT Club Updates ocadudrpt@gmail.com – Drawing and Painting Club is running and open for everyone to join. Meetings happen every Friday from 2:00-5:00 in room 484 at 100 McCaul (Main Building)!
Trans Artist Collective Updates @trans.artist.collective – Join us for UPCYCLED: Protest Pins Workshop on October 10th from 3pm-6pm (room TBA)! This event will surround the history of protest and give OCAD students the opportunity to participate in an age-old anti-capitalist protest craft!
Ecoacd Updates @ecocadu – Next meeting is October 10th in the Campus Life Lounge (MCA 314)! All are welcome to attend this meet and greet and art supply exchange!
